The Sick Leave Act commenced on 1 January 2023 and provides for an entitlement to statutory sick leave for an employee who has at least 13 weeks continuous service.
Since 1 January 2023, employees have a right to:
- 3 days (2023)
- 5 days (2024)
- 7 days (2025)
- 10 days (2026)
