Charities Governance Code
The Charities Regulator issued the Governance Code for Charities in 2018. The code sets out the minimum standards a board should meet to effectively manage its school. As trustees of registered charities, boards of management of schools need to be aware of the Code and to work towards complying with its principles.

Forms
To comply with the Code, the board of management must complete the Compliance Record Form every year.
On the form, the board needs to identify the actions it took in the year to meet each standard.
